Making this Orange Creamsicle Cheesecake is easier than you think! With simple ingredients and a few easy steps, you’ll have a smooth, citrusy, and creamy dessert ready to impress.

  • Total Time: 65 min
  • Yield: Serves 1012 1x

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Cheesecake Filling

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 1 package orange gelatin powder (3 oz)
  • 1 ½ cups whipped topping (or homemade whipped cream)

For the Topping (Optional)

  • Extra whipped topping
  • Fresh orange slices for garnish
  • White chocolate shavings

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs and ¼ cup granulated sugar.
  2. Add ½ cup melted butter and mix until the texture resembles wet sand.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes while preparing the filling.
    • Tip: For an extra crunchy crust, bake at 325°F (163°C) for 8 minutes and let cool completely.

2. Make the Creamsicle Filling

  1. In a large bowl, beat 16 oz softened cream cheese and ¾ cup sugar until smooth.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon vanilla extract, ½ cup fresh orange juice, and 2 tablespoons orange zest. Mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, dissolve 1 package (3 oz) orange gelatin powder in ¼ cup hot water. Let it cool slightly before adding to the cream cheese mixture.
    • Caution: Do not add hot gelatin directly into the mixture—it can cause curdling.
  4. Fold in 1 ½ cups whipped topping (or homemade whipped cream) until fully combined.

3. Assemble & Chill

  1. Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  2. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  • Tip: For a stunning swirl effect, reserve some of the filling, mix it with extra orange gelatin, and swirl it in before chilling.

4. Serve & Enjoy!

  1. Remove from the pan and garnish with whipped topping, fresh orange slices, and white chocolate shavings.
  2. Slice, serve, and enjoy the nostalgic, creamy, citrusy goodness!
